ABOUT UCRA
Founded in 2002, the Uganda Coffee Roasters Association (UCRA) is a national umbrella body of coffee roasters committed to transforming Uganda’s coffee sector through value addition, policy advocacy, and market expansion. Established with just five founding members under the patronage of the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA), UCRA has now grown to a vibrant community of over 50 registered member roasteries, with a reach that spans over 1,500 farmers across Uganda.
Our members play a critical role in increasing domestic coffee consumption, improving the quality and competitiveness of Uganda-roasted coffee, and linking Ugandan farmers to both local and international markets.
